    Housebuilder Bovis shot up after one of its largest investors urged a merger with rival Berkeley, the FT reported yesterday. Whilst reaction from Berkeley was muted, it appears that shareholders at Bovis are increasingly frustrated and are seeking a solution to the challenges there.
