About Me

Jeremy is a Partner at Catalyst and has significant experience of many transaction types.

He is one of Catalyst’s most experienced deal makers. Recent transactions include advising GI Solutions Group on the acquisition of the Eclipse Group; the sales of PS Financials to IRIS Software Group, Texon to South-East Asia-based Navis Capital Partners, Shimtech Industries to Auctus Industries, Morrells to US-based RPM International Inc and Allen Ford to South Africa's Super Group; the secondary management buy-out of Aspen Pumps; and the management buy-outs of TTC Group and Red Box Recorders.


Jeremy leads the Industrials sector team at Catalyst, having completed deals in the sector over the last two years totalling over £250m, and he is one of the authors of the Catalyst Chemicals & Coatings Fast 25. He also has a particular knowledge of the education, training, professional services and consultancies markets.

Jeremy also works closely with Jamie Hope to originate and deliver deals in the West Midlands, using the connections he has built up over his 12 year period at Catalyst.

A graduate of Leeds University, Jeremy qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC. He then worked in PwC’s post deal integration team before joining Catalyst in 2005.

Jeremy is married with two young children and when not acting as taxi driver to them is a keen sportsman, particularly enjoying watching and playing football.
